1. A manufacturing order with a recipe (bill of materials)
Every cream has its recipe fixed as a bill of materials in the Manufacturing app (MRP), with the exact quantity of each raw material per batch.

2. Lot numbers and shelf life
Raw materials automatically get a lot number in Inventory on receipt, so it's always possible to trace which raw-material batch went into which cream.

3. Quality control during production
For every batch, the Quality app automatically prompts for a check — only once it's approved ("Passed") does the batch move on to the next step. During mixing, a connected sensor automatically measures temperature and pH; if a reading falls outside spec, Odoo immediately raises a Quality Alert on that batch — before an employee could have measured it by hand.

4. Full traceability
Every packaged batch stays linked to the manufacturing order it came from, including its quality status — so it takes two clicks to see which bulk batch went into which finished product.

5. Inventory and invoicing
After production, stock is updated automatically and the delivery to the customer is invoiced from the same order.
The result
Fully traceable from raw material to invoice, with built-in quality control per batch. An extra check for a new product is added in a couple of minutes.
